Uniform shop

Junior Secondary uniform

Shirt: Polo shirt.

Shorts: Black shorts with college initials.

Skirt: Endorsed black box pleated skirt.

Note: Only P&C endorsed shorts and skirts are permitted.

Socks: White ankle socks (socks are compulsory).

Shoes: White or black joggers or leather school shoes.

Senior Secondary uniform 

Years 10, 11 and 12 

Shirt: Endorsed checked shirt. Senior jersey (Year 12 only).

Shorts: Plain black knee length shorts with school initials or black cargo shorts (boys only)

Skirt: Endorsed black box pleated skirt.

Socks: White ankle socks (socks are compulsory.)

Shoes: White or black joggers or leather school shoes.

​Winter uniform ​Formal uniform
​During colder weather, the following can be worn: ​To be worn when representing the College at official functions:

Plain black windcheater, jumper or cardigan

Plain long black trousers or slacks

NQ or State (QSSS) jacket

College track suit

No denim or corduroy​

Blazer: Jade with school logo

Shirt: White with Black tie

Pants: Long, black trousers or slacks

Skirt: Endorsed black box pleated

Shoes: Black leather shoes.

Socks: White socks or flesh coloured stockings. Black socks with trousers

Sports Shirts

Heatley Secondary has House sports shirts which are in the colours of the three houses - Lavarack, Melton and Cleveland. These may be purchased from Lowes. The shirts are ONLY to be worn for special occasions as advertised by the college as part of the House Spirit promotion.

Jewellery

Jewellery can pose a safety hazard within a school setting and any jewellery deemed a potential safety risk by the College is not permitted. 

Earrings

Dangling and large hoop earrings are not permitted. Students with pierced ears should only wear sleepers or plain studs.

Wrist watch

Students are encouraged to wear a wrist watch.

Necklaces and bracelets/bangles

A single strand necklace; one bracelet or bangle.

Allergy bracelets / medical alert jewellery to be worn at all times.

Finger jewellery

A small ring with no sharp or raised edges is permitted.

Body piercing

While fashionable, this is an unnecessary health and safety risk and is not condoned. A small nose stud (less than 2 mm) is the only allowable facial piercing. All other piercings must either be removed, covered or replaced with clear studs.

Hair

  • Work appropriate hair styles and colours.
  • Long hair not covering the face (preferably tied back).
  • Natural hair colours only
  • Facial hair must be kept neat and tidy

 

Tattoos

Any visible tattoos are to be covered at all times.
