Heatley Secondary College is growing and we are looking for committed and caring staff to join our dynamic team!

At Heatley Secondary we incorporate Years 7 to 12 mainstream classes, as well as multimedia training through the TCTC (Townsville Creative Technologies Centre).

Tuckshop

​We are currently recruiting for a Tuckshop Manager and a Tuckshop Assistant. This is for school terms only. To apply, applicants will need to provide a 2-page resume, the name and contact number for 2 referees and a statement (no longer than 1 page) outlining skills and experience which would make them a suitable candidate for the role. In addition, applicants must also have a current paid ​Blue Card.

​Casual Cleaners

Heatley Secondary College is always looking for highly motivated and experienced cleaners to work at our College on a casual basis. If you are interested, please email bsm@heatleysc.eq.edu and attach a current resume with your experience. This could be helping the school with COVID cleaning during school hours, or replacing absent/sick cleaners who work two shifts (early morning and afternoons).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
  1. Successful applicants will be required to undergo a criminal history check before the appointment can proceed.
  2. No card, No Start Laws commenced effective 31 August 2020. The successful applicant must hold a valid Blue Card prior to commencement of duty.
